Miami Art Week has evolved into a meeting point for art, culture, creativity, and the industries that are shaped by them. Among the more than 100,000 people who attend are collectors, gallerists, artists, founders and business leaders, investors, technologists, designers, entertainers and creators. They arrive with different interests and ambitions, connected by the art and creative work that brought them to Miami Beach.

InScope is being built to turn that proximity into connection. Through art installations, gallery exhibitions, conversations, hospitality, and shared experiences on the beach, artists and galleries can find new collectors and collaborators. Business leaders and investors can exchange ideas and build relationships across industries. Visitors can explore their interests and discover new ones, becoming part of a community that extends beyond any single interest, lifestyle, profession, or generation.

“Interesting people are interested in more than one thing. Miami Art Week brings them to the same city and InScope is designed to bring them into shared conversation,” said Matt Middleton, Co-Founder & CEO of InScope. “We want artists and galleries to meet new collectors and collaborators, and business leaders to connect through the things they care about as people. Art gives those conversations a starting point. Our ambition is for people to leave with the relationships they came for and the inspiration they didn’t expect.”

Created by Middleton, Alexis Hubshman, Hayley River Smith, and the team behind SCOPE Art Show, InScope draws on 25 years of championing emerging artists and galleries. Its inaugural edition introduces a new event format designed to deepen the relationships between artists, the galleries that represent them, and the people who discover and collect their work.

“For 25 years, SCOPE has pushed the boundaries of what an art show can be,” said Alexis Hubshman, Co-Founder and President of InScope and founder of SCOPE Art Show. “We are committed to the mission of discovering, nurturing, and elevating new talent through culturally engineered experiences that foster meaningful connections.”

One Week. One Experience. Many Ways In.

InScope brings its vision to life through four elements:

  • A unique beachfront layout: More than 220,000 square feet will feature indoor and outdoor art installations, multiple gallery pavilions, and shared spaces for networking, programming, hospitality, and entertainment. The architecture and layout will make discovery part of the experience throughout the site.

  • Programming that follows the rhythm of the day: Mornings begin with wellness activities on the sand. Daytime programming includes artist and collector conversations alongside group learning experiences spanning cultural, lifestyle, and business interests. Evenings bring curated dinners, receptions, private tours, gatherings, and musical performances to InScope.

  • Relationships that support discovery and opportunity: Conversations, shared meals, and informal gathering spaces will give visitors time to connect with artists, gallerists, and people across culture and industries. These encounters create opportunities for collecting, commissions, collaboration, friendships, and business relationships that continue beyond the event.

  • A welcome across generations: InScope is designed to bring first-time buyers and established collectors into the same conversation, making room for different experiences, perspectives, and ways of discovering art. The ambition is for people new to collecting to feel they belong, and for lifelong collectors to feel the excitement of discovery again.

First Wave of Feature Projects and Artists

InScope’s Feature Projects program will bring large-scale installations, murals, and site-specific works throughout the event. The first wave includes Alake Shilling in collaboration with Tlaloc Studios, Aurora Mititelu, Blue Floor Project in collaboration with Fuze and Baha Mar, Ceren Arslan, Jason Hackenwerth in collaboration with CAMP Gallery, Nurse in collaboration with Walshy Fire, Rabi Towing in collaboration with Mortal Machine Gallery, and Swoon in collaboration with Mortal Machine Gallery, The San Francisco Mural Museum, and Superchief Gallery. Additional projects and commissions will be announced in the coming months.

“Discovery starts with the artists and galleries,” said Hayley River Smith, Director of InScope. “For our first edition, we want people to encounter the work in a way that feels personal. There isn’t only one way to experience art. We want to give people reasons to spend time, ask questions, and find something that stays with them. Bringing ambitious Feature Projects into the conversation creates another entry point – an opportunity to encounter work differently and engage with it on their own terms.”
